Representatives of the State Audit Office of Georgia presented on the Electronic Declaration System (FMS) in Prague
Representatives of the Political Finance Monitoring Department within the State Audit Office of Georgia participated in the workshop organized by the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES) – around the topic on the "Digital solutions in political finance - reporting, review and publication".
At the two-day working meeting hosted in Prague, Besik Kochiashvili, the Head of the Political Finance Monitoring Department within the SAO, and Gvantsa Iordanishvili, the Chief Financial Analyst, shared the newly introduced electronic declaration system (FMS) of financial monitoring to the participants, and also closely discussed the rules and standards for preparing and submitting financial reports of political parties existing in Georgia.
Apart from Georgia, the representatives of political finance supervisory agencies from nine countries - North Macedonia, Moldova, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, Armenia, Ukraine, Albania - attended the meeting. Following their assessments, the electronic declaration system of the State Audit Office of Georgia is distinguished by its simplicity and high functional capabilities.
