Activities

The State Audit Office monitors the financial activities of political unions of citizens within the competence of the Organic Laws of Georgia on Election Code and Political Unions of Citizens.

Within the mandate granted by law, the State Audit Office works closely with all political parties through effective communication methods, which greatly simplifies the procedure for rapid receipt and analysis of information.

The Organic Law of Georgia “On Political Associations of Citizens” fully describes the responsibilities that political parties are obliged to fulfill.

All actions that are carried out by avoiding the regulations of the law will result in liability under the legislation of Georgia.

Thus, in order to ensure the effective implementation of information exchange, the State Audit Office publishes on its website and periodically updates detailed information of interest to Political Associations of Citizens. Moreover, it will also develop datasheet forms for obtaining information, which will facilitate the provision of legally required information by political parties.
