Financial Monitoring Service of the Political Parties of the State Audit Office carried out monitoring of the local self-government elections and pre-election period of 2017. The monitoring covered the period from 1 June to 19 November.

The report includes the information about the revenues and expenditures carried out by political parties and election subjects during the reporting period, the complaints received and the results of the monitoring on the response conducted by the Financial Monitoring Service of the Political Parties.

In total, GEL 27,270,568 was spent by political parties: 

1. Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia - 17,600,948 GEL.
2. United National Movement - GEL 2,078,378.
3. Alliance of Patriots of Georgia - 1,523,360 GEL.
4. European Georgia-Movement for Freedom - GEL 1,484,891

In total, donations received by election subjects was GEL 16,418,892:

1. Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia – GEL 14,815,653.
2. European Georgia-Movement for Freedom- GEL 951,834.
3. United National Movement – GEL 122,496.
4. Alliance of Patriots of Georgia – GEL 66,392.
