Today, on September 2, the Auditor General of the State Audit Office Lasha Tordia together with the Head of the Financial Monitoring Service of the Political Parties Zurab Aznaurashvili met with the media representatives.

 At the press conference, the Auditor General touched upon the current processes of the pre-elections period and revealed political financing issues deficiencies. He presented information which has been studied so far by the Financial Monitoring Service of the Political Parties, including:  

• Activity of teachers’ free medical surveys carried out by the Chair of the Tbilisi City Assembly Faction “Georgian Dream” Rima Beradze;
• Illegal donations received by “Georgian Patriots Alliance”;
• Illegal donations received by Paata Burchuladze political movement “State for People”  from 4 individuals;
•  Agreement issues signed by the Head of the “United National Movement” Adjaran Office Levan Varshalomidze.

At the meeting, media was also delivered information regarding those electoral parties which did not present declarations required by the State Audit Office as a reason of what administrative protocols have been drawn up.
