The IFES with assistance of the USAID and CoE supports the SAO to strengthen the capacity and foster uptodate standards in financial monitoring of political parties.

Outcomes:

• Stakeholder meetings coordinated by the CoE and IFES to discuss the needs and practices of legislative changes with representatives of local NGOs have been hosted.
• At a meeting organized by CoE and IFES in Prague, the representatives of political finance monitoring organizations of Ukraine, Moldova, Northern Macedonia, Armenia, Kyrgyzstan, and Georgia shared among themselves the practice of stakeholder involvement in political finance individuals and improving communication.
• Information security training organized by IFES and USAID with participation of the SAO staff increased staff awareness on issues related to IT security and information management.
