A consultation meeting was held with the non-governmental sector
The State Audit Office held a consultation meeting with representatives of the non-governmental sector working on election issues.
Head of the Political Finances Monitoring Department, Besik Kochiashvili introduced the results of the eight-month monitoring of revenues and expenditures of the subjects participating in the parliamentary elections and the measures taken by the Office.
At the meeting, the Political Finances Monitoring Department also presented information on the responses upon the requests.
Representatives of the non-governmental sector expressed their views on various topical issues in the elections. The meeting was attended by the representatives of the International Foundation for Electoral Systems (IFES), Transparency International Georgia, International Republican Institute (IRI), National Democratic Institute (NDI), International Center for Democratic Initiatives, Civic Platform 20/20, International Center for Civic Culture, Center for Civic Engagement and Democracy Development, Socio-Political Development Center, Center for Development and Democracy (CDD), The Public Movement Multinational Georgia (PMMG), Georgian Young Lawyers’ Association (GYLA), Free Choice, New Generation for Democratic Georgia, International Society for Fair Elections and Democracy (ISFED), Civil Society and Democracy Development Center.
An election-related consultation meeting with the non-governmental sector will be held intensively.
